What are “sides” and do I need to memorize them?

Sides are short scenes from the script that we distribute a few days in advance in order to give the participants an opportunity to become familiar with the words and characters.  There is no need to memorize them – just be comfortable reading them before you come in to audition.

Do you hold callbacks?

Yes!  We use callbacks to have actors read together on stage who didn’t have the chance during auditions.  Not all will be called back, HOWEVER that doesn’t mean you didn’t make it in the show!  The final Cast List is sent out via email within 24 hours of the callback date.

Are conflicts with rehearsals ok?

Yes and no.  We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you have conflicts.  This will help us know how to cast you in the production and how to create the rehearsal schedule.  We do have some rehearsals that are mandatory, as listed in the audition information section.

Is there a fee to participate?

No!  We do require that you purchase 10 tickets to the production.  For this show, tickets are $10 each. Payment can be made via cash, check, card, or Venmo.

*There is a $100 fee to participate in the student production, in order to ensure the participants have the ability to produce a show that follows their vision. No ticket purchase required, although cast presale tickets will be available prior to the public sale.*

Do you provide the costume?

Yes!  We provide the costumes, EXCEPT for shoes, socks, tights, etc.  If we do not already have a costume for your character, you have the option of purchasing it on your own and keeping it after the production, or letting us purchase it and keeping it for future productions.
