After closing our doors for nearly two years, we are so thrilled to announce our exciting 2022 season!
All of our productions are free to participants and offer on stage and backstage opportunities. In order to continue to offer free participation for all, we ask that each participant be responsible for selling 10 tickets to friends and family.
30 Reasons Not To Be in a Play by Alan Haehnel (Spring 2022) – This hilarious show is fun for all ages. The audience is sure to be laughing as this play proves through examples of horrifying experiences that nobody should EVER participate in theater!
Peter Pan and Wendy adapted by Doug Rand (Summer 2022) – We postponed this show in March 2020 and are SO excited to bring it back! Peter Pan is a mischievous and charismatic boy from a magical place called Neverland. Leader of the Lost Boys, Peter refuses to grow up and much prefers to spend his time having a laugh or an exciting adventure. He meets Wendy, Peter, and Michael Darling in their home in London, and takes them back to Neverland with him. They enter a world of mermaids, pirates, and fairies more exciting than they ever imagined.
A Seussified Christmas Carol by Peter Bloedel (Winter 2022) – This family friendly holiday production will bring families together on and off the stage and help us all find our holiday spirit through this charming retelling of A Christmas Carol.
Mystery Dinner Theater Fundraiser – This outdoor production will include an option for a picnic dinner and is sure to be a fun evening of mystery, suspense, and comedy! Join us as we raise funds for the upcoming season!

Youth Advisory Committee Events
Spring 2022 talent show, showcasing local talent of all ages
Original works performances – the Youth Advisory Committee is creating their own radio drama, to be performed virtually and at community events

Our workshops typically run Tuesdays and Thursdays for 6 weeks for $50 per session. Our classes have a maximum of 12 students per session and provide a unique opportunity to work in a small, immersive, project-based format to learn about a variety of elements of theater. Our workshops are constantly changing, so check back regularly for the most up-to-date opportunities.
Coming up first in 2022:
Introduction to theater – learn about the basics of theater. From stage direction to improv to character development, this six week course will give students an idea of what goes into putting on a show as an actor. The workshop ends with a showcase performance!
Technical theater – this is an introductory course where students have an opportunity to learn hands-on about lighting, sound, set design, costume design, and props
Storytelling – ever wondered what makes a great story for the stage? This 6 week workshop covers the elements of writing a great story. Throughout the six weeks, students will have a chance to work together to write and workshop their own script
Character development – want to learn how to develop your character for the stage? This course explores techniques to help actors understand their characters, develop rich backstory, and get the most out of their performance with vocal and physical exercises.
Technical theater – Get hands-on and learn about designing technical elements for the stage. Visiting experts help students learn about design and understand how design helps tell the story.
Scriptwriting – Through this six week course, students will learn how to write a story for the stage with dynamic characters, unique settings, and technical elements that help to tell the story.
