Village Stage Productions presents the 2nd Annual A Holiday Spectacular!

This holiday tradition returns with multiple festive stories brought to life on stage:

🎄 The Christmas Present (adapted by Sarah Mertyris)

🎁 The Gift of the Magi (adapted by Sarah Mertyris).  Directed by Joe Tyler

🐻 Winnie-the-Pooh Decorates for Christmas (written by Sarah Mertyris)

🌾 Jimmy the Christmas Scarecrow (adapted by Robert Thatcher).  Directed by Betsy Longoria

Each actor is cast in one story only, rehearsing just one evening per week. It’s the perfect way to bring holiday magic to life on stage without an overwhelming time commitment.

Auditions

• October 20 – Auditions for Monday/Wednesday stories (The Christmas Present and Winnie-the-Pooh Decorates for Christmas)
• October 21 – Auditions for Tuesday/Thursday stories (The Gift of the Magi and Jimmy the Christmas Scarecrow)
• October 22 – Callbacks for all stories
• October 23 – First Cast Meeting for all actors and parents/guardians

**Feel free to audition for however many stories you want! Each actor will only be cast in ONE story each. You can indicate your story preference on the audition form.**

Ages: 6 and up (roles for youth, teens, and adults)

Rehearsals

• October 27 – December 11 (one night per week by story, plus Tech Week)
• Tech Week: December 8–11, 6:00–9:00 PM (all actors attend every rehearsal)

Performances

• Friday, December 12 at 7:00 PM
• Saturday, December 13th at 3:00 PM
• Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 PM
• Sunday, December 14 at 3:00 PM

*IMPORTANT: Please attend the audition days for ALL the stories for which you would like to be considered. Ex: you want to audition for the Pooh story and The Christmas Scarecrow. Sign up for an audition time on Monday, October 20th for Pooh AND Tuesday, October 21st for The Christmas Scarecrow. You will be given different audition materials with different casting teams present!
