Workshops
We Accept Visions in Education Vouchers!
Village Stage Productions offers theater workshops designed especially for homeschool students in grades 1-12. Throughout the school year, students have opportunities to explore acting, develop theater skills, build confidence, and collaborate with other young performers in a fun and supportive environment.
Acting Skills Workshops introduce students to the fundamentals of theater through storytelling, movement, theater games, improvisation, character development, and collaborative activities. Students build foundational theater skills while developing confidence, communication, creativity, and collaboration skills that extend beyond the stage.
Performance Workshops take acting skills into rehearsal and performance. Students explore character development, scene work, movement, and performance techniques while working together to rehearse and prepare material for an audience. Each session culminates in a performance for friends and family.
All workshops align with California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Standards for Theatre and engage students in the artistic processes of Creating, Performing, Responding, and Connecting.
